How do I know if I am eligible?
If you have funding for Improved Daily Living in the Capacity Building portion of your NDIS plan, then you may be eligible to access Social Work. Please send us a message if you are unsure about eligibility.

What is Social Work?
Social Work is a highly flexible and adaptable support, depending on your needs and what you want to focus on.
(Please note: NSS does not provide reports for medico-legal purposes)
Connection with Providers
We can connect you with mainstream services and NDIS providers that can meet your specific needs. A social worker can also advocate for your needs with governmental stakeholders if you are having difficulty accessing the right supports.
Coordination of Supports
If you do not have a Support Coordinator, a social worker can assist with preliminary case coordination until you have the NDIS funding necessary for a Support Coordinator.
Therapy
One-on-one talk therapy utilizing approaches such as CBT, Mindfulness Based CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and trauma focused therapy. All of this is provided with the underpinning knowledge of a client-centred approach, trauma informed practice, systemic practice, and strength based approach.
